Psychotikum:

Psychotikum was founded in 1999 as a collaborative effort of B.Ashra and Sigyn M and has since catered for the rather dark and experimental aspects of electronic industrial music (Dark Ambient).

Sigyn M plays in the bands Devas, Somnambule and is also performing as DJ M.
B. Ashra, perhaps better known for his eponymously titled ambient solo project, is a founding and active member of Morphon, Toshra, Motobash and Brain Entertainment Laboratory.

"Sadhu", their debut album originally recorded over thirteen years ago - but never properly released - is now going to be re-released, in a completely remastered double cd edition, through Berlin label Separated Beats, a sublabel of Klangwirkstoff Records.

Drawing inspiration from such classic old school industrial acts as Throbbing Gristle, SPK, Coil and Lustmord;

Psychotikum are creating haunting, yet hypnotic soundscapes digging deeply into the realms of gothic industrial halls and exploring the dark electronic pits underneath. Sparsely triggered vox samples, lingering drones, lavishly layered over pumping percussive rhythm patterns - this is dense material with an undeniably spooky edge, indeed.
